Why don't I see "Highlights" or "Balayage" on your service menu?
We pride ourselves on how custom each of our guest's hair is. Each look fits the guest's personality, lifestyle, and hair goals.
Because of this, we am frequently using 3-6 techniques on each person. We may use highlights, babylights, and balayage on you in the same visit to achieve your custom look!
We've simplified our menu to ensure you don't have to worry about how we get there-only the end result that you'd like. Head to our New Guest Packages or Services page to learn more about each package!
How do I know which service to book?
Easy! You have two options; head to our New Guests page where you'll find a chat bot that will tell you exactly what to book, or contact us to chat about what look is best for you.
Simply put, our packages focus on your desired end result- from subtle & sunkissed to a dramatic chage.

What are your COVID-19 Policies?
UPDATED AS OF 1/1/22
As Utah County has dropped the mask mandate and our team has all been fully vaccinated, we are having each guest customize their experience in the salon. We will mirror you-if you're not wearing a mask and are comfortable with your stylist not wearing one, your stylist won't wear one either. If you come in with a mask, your stylist will happily wear one for the duration of your appointment. All strict sanitation procedures will stay in place. NOTE: We cannot guarantee that if there is more than one guest in the salon, that all parties will wear masks. If you are concerned about masks, please contact us to set up a private appointment.
Here at E.P. Studio, we want you to always feel comfortable and safe. Here's what we are doing to keep everyone safe as we navigate these times:
At the salon, we are:
• Open for regular hours, scheduling extra time in-between guests to fully disinfect and sanitize the salon
• Disinfecting high touch surfaces regularly
• Providing hand sanitizer in the salon, plus restrooms to wash hands across the hall
•We ask you to please reschedule your appointment if you have:
-have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19,
-have any symptoms (not just COVID-19 related, even just mild cold symptoms)
-have been around anyone that has been sick
Is everyone on your team vaccinated?
Yes, we are all fully vaccinated.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Do I have to fill out the form to book a new appointment?
Because we take your time very seriously and we want to give you the best experience possible, we do require all new guests to fill out our New Guest Form prior to booking.
This quick and easy form allows us to make sure that at your first visit we have enough time scheduled to hit our goals for the day, and helps us get to know you before you ever walk in our door to streamline and customize your experience to the fullest.

Do I have to have my picture taken?
No, absolutely not!
We love taking photos of my guests, for you to have to show off how amazing you look, and for our social media & website! We typically do standard before/after photos, plus for all of our color package appointments, we do a mini photoshoot as well. You can opt out of this with no worries from us, or you can modify the way we take them (no photos of your face, waist up, etc) depending on what your comfort level is.
This is just a fun thing we have added to the experience at E.P. Studio, but we will never force you to take photos with us and we will not post pictures without your prior permission.
What should I wear?
You can expect to have photos taken of you at your appointment, so wear something you'd be comfortable taking photos in! If you want to dress up, fantastic! We love it and we can have a ton of fun with your photos. If you want to dress more comfortably, feel free as well and we can take photos to your comfort level. Whichever is your preference!
What is your specialty?
We are "Low-Maintenance Color Specialists". We specialize in creating effortless hair for busy people that lasts between appointments.
Not many people have time to go to the salon every 6-8 weeks anymore. Emily has spent over 10,000 hours in continued education honing in her technique & has crafted a unique training method to teach all of our stylists the same techniques. Our goal is to create the most customized plan that fits your personality, lifestyle, goals and budget.
If you're looking for hair that looks good from the day you walk out of the salon to the day you come back (usually 3-6 months later, depending on our plan!), you've found your salon home.
Where are you located?
Our salon is located at the Riverwoods in Provo, Utah. Once at the Riverwoods, head inside the Riverwoods Salon Suites and we are in Suite 6, halfway down the hall.
How do I get to your salon?
The easiest way to get to the salon if you're coming from I-15 is to take the Orem Center Street exit and head East off the exit.
Follow Center Street all the way up until you see Edgewood Dr, and turn left. Take your first right into the parking lot (same parking lot that has the Roxberry & Bajio). You'll see Bath and Body works, and the Riverwoods Salon Suites is next door!
Head inside and we are in Suite 6, about halfway down the hall.
How long have you been in business/doing hair?
EP Studio was established in 2018 by our owner, Emily. She has been designing hair since 2015.
Rylee joined our team as an assistant in 2021, and will begin taking clients in April of 2022.
When can I book an appointment with Rylee?
Rylee has been working her way through our rigorous assisting program and will complete all of her training at the end of March, 2022. She will begin taking appointments at the start of April.
