LATEST VIRAL HAIR HACK:
rosemary water?!
rosemary water has become super popular as a hair growth aid on social lately, and for good reason! Here's some information about it:
Does it work?
- Yes! Recent studies have shown promising results with rosemary water. Rosemary has been shown to help with scalp health and is very stimulating to the scalp which can help with increasing the rate of hair growth.
Who can use it?
- Anyone! As long as you have no allergies or sensitivities to rosemary, you should be good to use it. NOTE: If you have any open sores on your head like a cut or sores from a skin condition, do not use it.
How do I use it?
- Spray the rosemary water directly on the scalp 1-3 times a week, then massage into your scalp. For best results, I love to use a scalp brush like THIS ONE HERE. Massage for 2-5 minutes for best results.
AT-HOME RECIPE:
Ingredients:

3 cups of water

2 springs of rosemary
Instructions:

Bring water to a boil

Add fresh rosemary sprigs, remove from the heat, cover, and steep for at least an hour or until cool. I like to leave the rosemary in the water until it’s fully cooled off to maximize its goodness.

Transfer to a spray bottle.

Spray daily onto dry hair or 2-3 times a week for normal hair.

BLUE OR PURPLE SHAMPOO
A HEAT PROTECT SPRAY
I like to say "it's a lot easier to prevent brass from showing up on your hair rather than trying to get rid of it once it's there."
Use once every third wash or so to keep your tone fresh and have it last a lot longer!
Heat causes damage and can cause your tone to fade much quicker. Think of a heat protect spray like sunscreen for your hair - ALWAYS use it!

If we did any dimension in your color, you'll want to pick up a blue shampoo to help maintain the tone. Use once every 3-5 washes to keep brass away.
If you have an ashier brunette, you might consider purchasing a green shampoo to help keep the reds out of your hair color.

In order to preserve your color, make sure you're using a color-safe shampoo & conditioner to keep it rich & vibrant.

COPPER CONDITIONER
To best maintain your ginger and keep it as vibrant as possible, you can use a copper conditioner once every 3-5 weeks.
Shampoo as normal, then apply a generous amount of the conditioner (gloves are highly recommended) to your hair. Let it sit for 10-20 minutes, rinse and then use your regular conditioner.
